A gem of a hotel in the middle of a beautiful city.
10.0Great location, beautiful hotel, quality decor and furnishings and the staff were lovely. The pool area was gorgeous, a little oasis in middle of the city. The Vatican, Colosseum and Trevi Fountain are all between 10-30 minutes walk. Perfect.

− I was really disappointed with my stay here. I’m not sure how this can be rated a 5 star hotel & I don’t write bad reviews often. The disappointing aspect was the service. So many things I asked for, never happened. Examples, Help with a pool umbrella, no one turns up. A pool towel, no one provides. Service at the pool, was almost non existent, you had to actively find someone walking around to ask for a drink at the pool bar. I was told no service at the pool then that changed when I questioned it. Restaurant I was delivered and tried to be charged for a salad I didn’t order (they did fix it up but only after I complained). It was almost at every corner the service was lacking. The breakfast was nice & I will say the service was good there. There are also just little things you expect from a 5 star hotel. Help with your bags, there was inconsistent turn down service. There was also no mention of how noisy the room was from the outside road…..but they did leave ear plugs in the room which tells me they know how noisy the room is, just no mention of it. I was really looking forward to my stay here but I would not recommend or stay again.
