This villa is absolutely stunning - It’s huge and it really feels like you’re living in a castle! Location is great and every room has its own bathroom. It’s truly a hidden gem and amazing for big groups - We enjoyed having breakfasts outdoor by the big table and chilling in the massive living room in comfy sofas every night. We were a bit unfortunate with the weather so didn’t get to enjoy much of the pool but it looks stunning.

− We were unfortunate with a few things during our stay - From when we checked in one of the rooms never had hot water, but it worked okay as our friends would use other rooms to shower. When connected the property on the first day, we were told that plumber had an accident and won’t be able to make it, however there was no further communication or attempts to resolve the issue during our stay. The last 2 days we had no hot water at all in the whole villa and when contacted the property, turned out there were some major works in the area that we were not informed of which caused us inconvenience. I would definitely suggest having better ways to communicate with property rather than messaging on booking.com. One night we had heavy rain and one of the rooms had a bad leak from the ceiling directly onto bed. There’s no TV’s in the house but that’s perhaps to keep the vibe more medieval. Overall the villa is amazing but you can hear everything that is going on outside despite all doors and windows being closed. I appreciate Roberta (our point of contact) doing her best to assist with the issues raised but appreciate the works outside for water was out of her control yet still caused us inconvenience.

A beautiful, unique and well maintained property, keeping the traditional elements of Maltese style. House is well equipped, hosts are supportive and efficient, we had the perfect stay!

− Cleaners arrived on the property slightly before checkout time, so felt a little rushed to leave. They were lovely ladies though :)

Beautiful authentic palace with some room for improvement

Beautiful old palace, good location, nice pool area. Well heated.

− Courtyard and covered outdoor areas in front of two bedrooms smelled very badly of urin. Floor in park / garden was green with algea and extremely slippery. Indoor areas extremely dark because of lack of light, due to structure of the building. No parking options.

− Rather cold . In winter I suggest get warm it up the day before guests arrive
