Extremely poor response time from host

− Host took days to weeks to respond. Required messaging multiple times on multiple platforms including the phone number provided upon booking. Guest concerns or questions are clearly not of any importance or priority. Digital lock to open door does not work. Never got a response regarding this for the entire duration of my stay. Would not recommend unless you are confident you will never have to contact the host.

9.0Spacious. 4 good size bedroom. Fruit and coffee on arrival. Good size tv. Washer and dryer was amazing
− A few things broken, such as hand towel rails and scuffs on the wall. Lack of back garden, nothing to sit on.
Incredibly disappointing due to poorly equipped house and very lazy host!
4.0The house was comfortable and clean
− The house was very poorly equipped for 8 people max to stay there. We were a group of 7 and found that the property didn't have a kettle so we had to boil water in a pan to make a cup of tea, the tin opener was broken, there wasn't a mop, no extra bed linen or towels provided, no hairdryers, no baking trays for the oven, not enough cutlery and only 2 wine glasses, 5 mugs and 7 plates! The host Hassan was also incredibly slow at replying back to me and never offered any solution to help us. We even had to go out to eat at a restaurant one night because we couldn't use the oven or open up any tins which defeats the main purpose of staying in a self catering property. We would have been better off staying at a hotel. I tried to appeal to the host one last time for a goodwill gesture to make up for our inconvenience and he promised to send a 150$ but again this was a lie and never materialised. The whole experience was a complete letdown and very disappointing! Thank goodness the beauty of Niagara falls made up for it.
