10.0A quirky but delightful period property. Our hosts Claire and Gene were exceptional - nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious and the breakfast was extensive and generous. Located in a leafy suburb with easy access to the town centre.

10.0The hosts made this booking phenomenal, there was nothing not to like. The property is magical, the location perfect (local to restaurants and bars) definitely try the Persian and Il treato (Italian) - superb food, not your run of the mill average kebabs and burger shops along the main Strip. If you want quality high-end food try these two restaurants. The breakfasts at the Jesmond are fabulous (nod to Clare's granola)👍🏼. The area is lovely with Victorian relics (fountains). Nothing was too much for the hosts ❤️

10.0Clare, the host was extremely helpful and welcoming. The room was just gorgeous and funky, and given an upgrade on arrival, this set the tone. The building itself, is set in a stunning part of Hull called The Avenues. In the room, the toiletries which were provided, were of good quality. The breakfast was superb given the price, we couldn't ask for more , including fresh eggs from the Clare's hens.There were snacks and drinks available 24 hours, who includes that these days? Given we were walking in The Wolds, this is a perfect location as it offers 20 min drive, notwithstanding Beverley, and the city feel within walking distance. I would highly recommend this place, even though not vegans, we were catered for. Nothing was too much trouble.

Relaxing stay in a charming house with welcoming hosts.
9.0Clare and Gene are friendly thoughtful hosts. Their house is full of character with large comfortable rooms and good showers. It’s in a quiet residential area of Hull but close to good restaurants in Princes Avenue. Plenty of choice for breakfast and access all day to drinks and snacks. A great base to explore Hull and East Yorkshire.
