8.0Glorious building and location, welcoming pub serving excellent food within walking distance and a cafe. The home is comfortable and spacious. Small issue with upstairs bathroom immediately solved by host.
− Extension leads everywhere. Very limited functioning sockets in the black bedroom. Essential for groups of women. Very limited hanging space in all bedrooms. Gorgeous gardens but could do with a tidy up. Would be a difficult place to negotiate if have any mobility issues.
Family Break.
9.0Beautiful House, decorated to a high standard. Big enough for 6 of us (Adults) to stay comfortably. Plenty of room for sitting outside in the garden enjoying the sun with the family. And to hang out round the firepit at night. Loved the village location. Had some super walks with the dog.
− Had an issue with the upstairs toilet but Steve was very responsive, getting it sorted out for us.
Fantastic stay - thank you.
9.0Beautiful Designed property in a lovely location. Gorgeous Garden and very well laid out for enjoying. Lovely rooms very tasteful and comfortable. Amazing host very accommodating
A great place!
8.0A lovely house, perfect for a family for the weekend. Very nicely furnished and a great entertaining space. Lovely garden and open fire in the living room.
− I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the house, old food in the fridge/freezer, dirty trays in the oven and the crockery in general wasn’t particularly clean. I appreciate it’s an old house but there was a lot of dust/cobwebs. I think with the right cleaner this house could be amazing!
Beautiful stay in a traditional bungalow with understated modern touches!
10.0Great space, lovely details throughout and deceptively big! The rooms were well thought through and the lounge was a beautiful space!
− Nothing!
Cozy home, friendly locals
9.0The owner couldn't have done more for us. Steve is a fantastic host. The bespoke wood decor is beautiful and makes for a cozy stay. The village is cute and very walkable. The local Spar is well stocked and the man who runs it is very friendly.
− Food left in fridge from previous occupants, upper floor was cold
