The best £49 I have spent in a long time!
8.0It was safe, clean, well maintained and presented. The room was as expected, better than first thought. Shower, sink and toilet in the room, small and compact but more than acceptable. The bed was comfortable and the window at the front opened up to allow in fresh air. Towels supplied. Receptionist/security was polite and helpful.
− Only negative comment was the bathroom was compact, if I wanted to spend more money I would have booked a bigger room, as I stayed only 1 night, it didn’t matter to me. I will stay again.
Exceptionally poor due to no working shower in my room.
2.0It was clean.
− My shower didn’t work so I had to go across to the main building with video evidence of this. The women tried to phone multiple people to come and sort it and eventually one came, but he was unable to fix it. He said, and I quote, “it’s because my boss just buys cheap shit” as to why the whole shower system wasn’t working. I think was offered a shower in the main building at the other side of the courtyard where the buildings were situated. This was also a horrendous shower and was basically a cupboard in the basement where I had to take my towel, clothes, shoes, phone, wallet etc actually in with me to the shower as there was nowhere to leave them. Because the conditions were that bad, I had to wash myself in the sink the next morning. The whole reason I chose to stay in this property as opposed to a hostel was because it had its own shower and toilet. I travelled down from Scotland to London for a job interview and this was not how I wanted to spend my night and morning under these appalling circumstances. I only have videos of the conditions and sadly no photos to post below.
