Nice clean apartment. Host was really responsive and helpful.

− - Living room has no window and was hot despite having a fan. - There was no tea or coffee available. Having a few bags would have been great. - There is no dedicated parking space for the apartment. However, there were street parking available on the street nearby.

Property was clean. Room was ok for what was required. Host was nice. Easy to contact.

− Property was fine but very small. Wouldn’t really advertise as a two bedroom. When toilet or shower is in use loud sounds coming from toilet area. Internet was terrible and had to use mobile data (ran up a high phone bill). Sofa bed was very uncomfortable wouldn’t recommend use as a bed. Parking on the road was ok. Abit tight considering we have vans but ok. Pure gym not too far away which was good. Expensive stay for what it is but I guess it’s London prices. Only provided one key which was annoying as was sharing property.

All right, clean, short distances to everything important, I think I would book again...

Die Vermieterin, Jane war telefonisch bis nach 23:00h (nochmal Danke an die Bahn.de) erreichbar. Alles war ok. Es war sauber, 5 Minuten zur einen Busstelle (Alford Rd.), da gibt´s auch gleich einen Shop für die OysterCard. Sainsbury für den Einkauf ist auch "gleich um die Ecke". Es gibt einen kleinen Garten mit Kunstrasen und Sitzbank. Küche ist ordentlich ausgestattet. The landlady, Jane, was available by phone until after 23:00 (thanks again to Bahn.de). Everything was ok. It was clean, 5 minutes to a bus station (Alford Rd.), there's also a shop for the OysterCard. Sainsbury for shopping is also "just round the corner". There is a small garden with artificial grass and a bench. The kitchen is well equipped.

− Die Dusche/ WC ist wirklich klein bzw. eng. Die Flecken auf der nicht ganz so bequemen Schlafcouch sind auch nicht so der Hingucker. Der Kleiderschrank im Schlafzimmer war nicht wirklich zum Einräumen der Kleidung da. Es fehlten die Zwischenböden, somit wird aus dem Koffer gelebt. Wir waren zu 3. Für 2 Personen alles Bestens... The shower/WC is really small and cramped. The stains on the not-so-comfortable sofa bed are also not that eye-catching. The wardrobe in the bedroom was not really there for putting clothes away. The shelves were missing, so you have to live out of a suitcase. There were 3 of us and everything was fine for 2 people

NOTHING. FALSE ADVERTISING

− HORRIBLE DISGUSTING GROTTY DISASTER. See pictures attached. Heronsgate GH013 is a converted shed at the bottom of someone's garden being FALSELY advertised as a one bedroom apartment (see photo attached). Pictures on advert are deceiving. Do not book. 1) Disgusting pump mechanism toilets in the bathroom that made ongoing droning sounds when shower was on and when toilet was flushed (see photo) 2) We found a bucket and pump provided as water was not draining properly into the shower basin when shower was on (see photo attached). So you had a choice of standing ankle deep in dirty water or using the even more soap scum ridded bucket and cup 3) The main house tenants (the property adminstrator) had strewn their washing on the grass in front of the "shed" (see photo attached) 4) Only 1 small window in the bedroom (see photo attached) I am disgusted that booking.com allows this sort of false advertising on it's site. After raising a complaint and moving out of property (which i had paid upfront for nearly 2,000GBP for 2 weeks), Booking.Com only refunded me 50% of what i paid despite providing picture and video evidence. They suggested i liaise directly with the property agent! The purpose of using Booking.Com was to avoid dishonest advertising!! DISGRACE! I will never book through Booking.com again. The customer service was terrible. Getting through on the phone was a nightmare and their customer service agents put you on hold for the longest time hoping you drop the call. I was lucky to find alternative accommodation through AIRBNB who have always provided vetted accommodation. But i am 1,000GBP worse-off not to mention the phone bills from being hours on hold Come on BOOKING.COM - you can do better
