Under maintained property
1.0Our recent stay at Verde Vista Fairmont Hot Springs was extremely disappointing and far below expected rental standards. The property was poorly maintained and not properly prepared for guests. The hot tub was dirty upon arrival, and someone entered the property to clean it without prior notice. Several amenities were either damaged or non-functional, including broken windows, non-working heated floors, a leaking bathroom, and a refrigerator that failed and spoiled our food. There were also serious safety and cleanliness concerns. The deck had exposed nails, and my child was injured as a result. The towels provided were ripped, the bedroom lacked proper blinds, and the entire house had a strong unpleasant odor consistent with poor maintenance. Additionally, the outdoor fireplace had no propane tank. When we contacted the owner for assistance, we were told to refill a 100 lb propane tank ourselves or transfer the BBQ tank back and forth during our stay, which is unacceptable for paying guests. Overall, the property did not meet basic expectations for cleanliness, safety, comfort, or hospitality. Unfortunately, our experience was stressful rather than relaxing, and I would not recommend this rental in its current condition.
It was difficult to get the kids to leave, it was definitely their home away from home. Thank you.
10.0There was plenty of bed availability and it was spacious. A great location with plenty to do for teens. A very relaxing atmosphere. The deck was a welcoming place to watch the visual night life above the mountains.
