8.0Absolutely beautiful and cosy. Beds very comfortable and a good shower! Enjoyed the courtyard area also.
Really interest and sweet 300 year old cottage in a perfect location
10.0The location is absolutely superb and place has such character. Well stocked kitchen etc. Communications with the host was first class.
− We like everything about the property. I would say that it may not suit the less mobile as the staircase is quite snug.

9.0Lovely house, so much history. Loved the aga. Very clean and comfortable. Location was perfect, in the heart of the old town, really near to the beach.
− Stairs very steep but the house is grade 2 listed so alterations not possible.
Midweek Stay With a Dog
9.0The house was really nice. I liked the nice sized garden and we could extend our stay by a night when I asked. The downstairs toilet was handy. The location being so close to the beach and Old Town was great.
− The stairs were not great. We were warned but i thought that the reviews were exaggerated (they weren't!). I had to crawl up them and struggle down. The pubs also closed very early and didn't often make food as it was out of season but there are plenty of takeaways available.
Beautiful spacious cottage in the heart of Hastings old town.
8.0Great location, right in the heart of old town Hastings and it was a privilege to stay in a beautiful grade II listed building.
− The stairs were very difficult to navigate, as my elderly father struggled to get up them. But the property does mention this in the listing.
