Disappointing Stay Due to Cockroaches in the Property

− We were very disappointed with our stay. On the first night, we encountered multiple flying cockroaches around the villa. On the second night, despite keeping all doors and windows closed, we found more cockroaches inside the villa, including in the kitchen and living areas. We documented this with photos and videos. There was also a power outage that evening. While we understand this was beyond the host's control, the combination of being without electricity and repeatedly finding cockroaches inside the villa made us feel very uncomfortable, and we decided to leave early. The most disappointing part was the way our complaint was handled. Although we provided evidence to Booking.com, the host denied responsibility, stating we had not reported the issue early enough. We expected greater accountability and a more meaningful resolution given the conditions we experienced. Unfortunately, this was not the clean and comfortable holiday accommodation we expected, and we cannot recommend this property based on our experience.
