Enjoyed our stay, but unfortunately we came back in the afternoon to use the Spa and found the room had not been cleaned

− Room was late getting clean, phone didn’t work in the room and the kettle was faulty

4.0The staff and bar facilities were excellent.
− However, the rooms were very dated and did not have air conditioning. It was ridiculously hot. I upgraded to business but I shouldn’t have bothered. In addition the bathroom door handle was hanging off.

10.0Lovely large room with quality furniture and bathroom. Pool delightful. Evening meal first class and breakfast very well organised which is unusual for large hotels Very good value will be first choice in Chester next time
− Very hot night with no Aircon so the fan made it bearable. Could not leave the window open as our room overlooked a busy dual carriageway
