9.0Lovely clean and spacious accommodation.
− One of the bedside lights didn't work. Probably new bulb needed. Also no welcome pack. However some bare essentials in the kitchen. I also found it frustrating not to know about the key box code until 6 hours before access. Because it's a worry to drive so far and not get the email. Would have much preferred to have it the day before.

− Nothing really but if pushed double bedroom but tight on space and door banged against frame.
Exactly what we needed.
9.0− There was not a shower in the ensuite bathroom, and it could have done with a couple of grab bars.

Comfortable cottage in central location
9.0The cottage was well appointed and in a great location, in walking distance of Alnwick town centre and Castle Gardens. It was warm and comfortable on a cold weekend! We had no difficulty parking close to the cottage. The host- Charlie- was in communication via e-mail, and it was straightforward to arrange access. We had plenty of space in the kitchen and sitting room.We enjoyed having a dishwasher! The master bedroom was spacious and had an en-suite bath.
− The bedroom with two single beds was small and there were not enough electric sockets. I'd recommend taking extra adaptor plugs for charging, if using this room. The shared bathroom is small and could do with some hooks for clothing. We would have appreciated more kitchen cloths and more than one sachet of shower gel in the bathrooms.
Perfect for a few days in Alnwick
9.0Great place to stay in Alnwick. Modern interior. 10 minute walk to centre. Good space for a family. Had everything we needed. Fair price. Perfect location for exploring the Northumberland coast.
− Cold when we arrived but heated up quickly once resolved. Needs a few more hooks for e.g. towels.
