tutto bene..cucina rifornita di ogni cosa per la colazione...cialde,succhi frutta, fette biscottate,latte ..ecc.. veramente top! addirittura il gestore ha fatto trovare il divano letto aperto e posizionato ottimamente con lenzuola e asciugamani.. veramente super! Non mi aspettavo una simile attenzione.. grazie!

Lovely clean apartment but needs better electrics

Fantastic & professional communication from Erica, she was lovely and helpful to our questions. We were a little confused by some instructions on entering property as the lock box was described as ‘small garage’ but we eventually worked it out. The Doma suite one apartment is on the second floor and it’s a modern 1 bedroom apartment. There’s a lift so you don’t need to navigate the stairs. Fully equipped with pretty much everything ( needs a bread knife) you need for a short stay. The lounge/kitchen area has its own air con (so essential), tv, sofa bed, cooker, fridge/freezer, dining table & chairs. There’s various coffee machines to choose from including pods & a kettle plus a selection of tea. The bedroom also has its own air con and another tv. Super comfortable bed, plenty of storage, drawers & wardrobe space. Lovely modern bathroom with shower and in the cupboard is a washing machine which was a surprise for us as we’d been 10 days travelling Italy/Sicily. There’s a small balcony with a washing line, pegs etc to dry your clothes but also a clothes maiden in the balcony cupboard along with mop, bucket, brush etc. You can access the balcony from lounge, bathroom and bedroom. The location is perfect just steps away from the main shopping area and 2km walk down to the beaches with sun loungers & bars. We went to the Lido cost us €20 for 2 loungers and a shade for the day. Great food and drinks at great prices-it’s a much cheaper area along that coastline. We bought our own food from local supermarket and planned to use the apartment to cook dinners however the electrics just kept fusing and eventually blew altogether smoking and leaving us with only one working air con and lights.

− The cooker or washing machine must have blew the fuse because we think you can’t have 2 or more appliances on at the same time. And when we tried to boil the kettle the system was completely overloaded. So from 18:00hrs until check out we had no power. Luckily for them we defrosted the freezer. The electrician eventually arrived as we were checking out but he couldn’t repair it as needed to order new components. If you’re travelling to Gela double check the trains are running. We booked tickets to Pozzallo but due to construction improvements & wild fires in the area the trains were shutdown. Buses & coach replacements were organised so it didn’t affect us getting our ferry to Malta as we got to the station early. Our train should have departed at 12:54 but the bus laid on left at 12:15, so we were lucky. Had we missed the bus not sure what else was on.
