A wonderful restful holiday at this beautiful villa in a lovely part of Kefalonia.
10.0This villa is really lovely, one of two next to each other but both very private. It is spacious and comfortable and very clean with a fully equipped kitchen. There is a large pool and sunbathing area and a separate barbecue area. It is located down a gravel track deep into the rural countryside, so peaceful and quiet and out of the way, yet within 5 minutes drive of the airport. You can actually see the airport runway from the property with the sea beyond but we found this to be a positive rather than a negative as it’s not a particularly busy airport and it was fun to watch the planes coming and going from the balcony. The owner, Joanne came to meet us shortly after we arrived and was very friendly and keen to share details of nice restaurants in the area as well as and places to visit further afield. The sleepy village of Svoronata is about 5 minutes drive from the villa and the capital, Argostoli about 15-20 minutes. We hired a car which we feel is a must if you want to visit other parts of the island, otherwise taxi fares are around €20-30 for a 20-30 minute journey. We would certainly recommend this villa and hope to return one day.

Excellent stay!
10.0Excellent stay! The villa is absolutely amazing – modern, super comfortable, and located in a truly magical spot. The large outdoor area and the big pool were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Everything was just perfect, and the owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed every single minute of our stay and can’t wait to come back!
