Large, clean, comfortable and well equiped house with 4 good sized bedrooms. Plenty of parking space - unusual for a property so close to tourist centre. Only 12 minutes walk to cathedral and castle. For dog owners it is only a 5 minutes walk to very extensive meadowland. Property owners were very attentive and helpful.

I visited Lincoln with my three daughters and their partners for a celebration weekend, and we were looking for a house that would accommodate all of us within walking distance of the Cathedral and Castle. The location was perfect (12 mins walk up a gentle hill to the Cathedral and old quarter) and the house, unusually in my experience, had 4 generously sized double bedrooms so we were very comfortable. Lots of space too and a big kitchen and dining area. And quiet - there was no noise around the house during the evening/night which we really appreciated. Finally, and this is quite rare too, there was off-road parking for four cars which, as we had all travelled from different parts of the country, was really nice to find.

− The house needs a big casserole dish and a big pan if you're cooking for 8 adults (which I was).

Beautiful property, location was perfect. We parked up right beside the property and didn't need to use cars until we were leaving. Bedrooms were all good size, and beds were comfortable. Kitchen had all amenities we needed and was great layout, with large dining table adjoining, which meant we were all together, even when cooking. Fantastic property in great location.

− Nothing major … First property we have stayed in with no welcome pack . No kitchen cloths /tea towels Would have been nice to have a small towel for hair not just one towel each .
