Very spacious and comfortable cottage surrounded by sakura trees with an apple orchard at the rear.

We were met by the host, Mr. Murakami, on arrival. Any difficulty in communication was solved with the help of Google Translate. Mr. Murakami showed us around the property and explained how to use the appliances. We had asked him to recommend nearby restaurants/eateries and we were pleased with the many recommendations he sent to us via WhatsApp. He made sure that we had his contact details and texted us the next morning to ask if everything was ok and if we had any problems. He even offered to come in person to top up the kerosene for the heater but it was not necessary as we had hardly used the heater. We found Mr. Murakami to be a very helpful host.

− This was not a problem for us but guests who sleep in the Western-style bedroom upstairs may find the location of the toilet downstairs somewhat inconvenient. To get around this issue, guests can request that the tatami room downstairs be set up as a Japanese-style bedroom with futons to sleep on as alternative to sleeping in the bedroom upstairs.

Everything! Place was amazing. Managed by a couple whom were so helpful. We were there when the earthquake struck, they were very patient on guiding us on what to do and even drove over to check on us. Definitely coming back 😍

The house is clean and tidy with all necessary electrical appliances. The host is very friendly and generously gave us some delicious apples. This is my second time living there and I am really appreciate living there. I expect that I could be able to live in the house again and again in the coming years!
