Wonderful family vacation

wonderful house and amazing location
9.0House is wonderful! Very clean and well decorated. The master bedroom is huge! Walk-in shower. The location is amazing, 2 balconies with views of the harbor. Quiet.
− I have been using Booking.com for a very long time and this booking was the least "smooth" in my opinion. I booked the house for my husband and his family; I was not part of the trip. We paid with a credit card that belongs to my husband. They still required a copy of both our IDs to be downloaded on their website, not sure why since I had nothing to do with this trip. Check-in instructions were a bit frustrating, no mention of when and how we can get the keys but an extensive list of what you cannot do in the house. I'm sure they had bad surprises in the past, but it doesn't make you feel welcome :-( We had to contact them the day before and they told us they will send the code the morning of. Not a huge deal, they were friendly and responsive, but this stress for us could have been avoided with better communication from the host from the start.
