Nice location, house was pretty from the outside.

− Couldn''t stay there! The host switched us from the upstairs unit we had rented to the downstairs unit by phone when we arrived, saying that the upstairs had been trashed by other tenants. Downstairs unit smelled bad, didn't have a fold-out couch like the upper unit, and had been double-booked! The woman who had rented it was actually there in the front yard trying to get access and arguing with the host on the phone! We went upstairs to the supposedly trashed unit we had actually seen in photos and rented, and it was fine and as described, except that the fold-out couch was broken. (there was open, free access between the units!) The host had made up a false story about the condition of the place and about a cleaning crew coming. When we called him to find out just what was going on, the host showed up and began making nonsense excuses with changing stories and multiple lies. We got a very bad vibe from him and the entire situation, including the fact that the downstairs had been rented to this other woman. He refused to cancel and return our money, then drove away. The whole situation was upsetting and very creepy, so we left and got a hotel instead. Complete disaster. Booking.com reimbursed our money and the extra we had to pay for the hotel, although they made the process quite difficult. This was all a very unhappy experience. This listing should NOT be offered here - serious issues with this unethical host.

− No privacy and owner was always bugging about this and that while you could always hear him on his ring doorbell breathing and he would never answer when we caught him. Also caught owner being parked outside of house at night and during the day just watching us. Came back from town and house was open and my personal ideas were all gone through living us all creeped out by this situation

The location was good it easy to get around town and restaurants

− The Victorian house was a disaster from the moment we walked in . There were issues with the light in the entrance, living room, and bedroom it was very dark, we call them right away but they did fix it the problem until the next day. the 4 chairs in the dining room were broken and couldn't sit on them. The shower door handle also broken the door, did not close , the towels were wet in the lining closet, and in the shower, they smelled mildew or dirty. The heater was not working and was very cold in the house 60 degrees they did not have warm blanket in the house or toilet paper we had to call them to bring toilet paper the next day we wanted to leave and get reimbursement but they would not give us our money back after all the issues they have in that old house finally they went to big lots to buy two warm blankets that was the worst place we have ever stay and tomake thing worst booking did not help us to get the money back , I felt that they did not help to resolve the issue I was very disappointed.
