10.0Our stay at Uga Chena Huts was truly exceptional and exceeded all our expectations. The villa itself was beautiful — we loved the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, the high ceilings, the private plunge pool, and the warm, cozy atmosphere inside. The design is stunning, blending luxury with nature in a very elegant way. A special thank you to the team for taking our requests into account. They provided us with a wonderfully private villa and made us feel genuinely cared for from the moment we arrived. The safari experience was outstanding. Everything was perfectly organized. We were provided with binoculars, and our jeep had two guides: one driving and one dedicated entirely to spotting wildlife and explaining everything to us. Their knowledge and experience were remarkable. Thanks to them, we were lucky enough to see two leopards, which became one of the highlights of our trip. You can really feel the personal approach and attention to detail. The food was absolutely delicious throughout our stay. One of our favorite moments was the beautiful evening arranged by the hotel team by the ocean. It was peaceful, romantic, and perfectly organized. What impressed us most was how thoughtfully the entire guest experience is planned. There is always something wonderful to do, yet nothing ever feels forced or intrusive. The atmosphere throughout the resort is one of complete peace, relaxation, and harmony with nature. Uga Chena Huts is much more than just a luxury hotel—it is a truly memorable experience. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yala. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Uga Chena Huts team for making our stay so special. We hope to return again someday.
− It’s honestly difficult to think of anything that needs improvement, but if we had to make a few light-hearted suggestions… One night, a wild boar wandered onto our terrace, didn’t even say hello, and casually walked away. A squirrel stole the cookies we had brought for the monkeys before they had a chance to enjoy them. We kept calling for the leopards, but they never came to visit our villa—perhaps next time they could be a little more sociable! And finally, we wouldn’t have minded spending a bit more time with the playful monkeys. They were so entertaining that we wished they had visited us more often. All jokes aside, everything about our stay was fantastic. Thank you for giving us such an unforgettable experience!

10.0Absolutely everything - the huts were probably the best accomodation I have ever stayed in. The people were absolutely wonderful and could not do enough to help make your trip memorable. The food was simply outstanding and very plentiful! The staff think of every little thing to make your trip fabulous!

4WD policy effective 15th April 2024 for new reservations:
1) Children under 03 years must be accompanied by parents or guardians in exclusive 4WD vehicles, at an additional cost, and require a signed indemnity form.
2)Families with children under 12 years are encouraged to opt for exclusive 4WD vehicles, at an additional cost for a personalized experience, though shared vehicles are available.
3) Pregnant women are advised against 4WD excursions for safety but can join with a signed indemnity form.
Please present the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking in / making payment at the resort.
Free private parking is possible on site (reservation is not needed).
Pets are not allowed.
WiFi is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.
Children of any age are allowed.
Children up to and including 1 year old stay for free when using an available cot.
Children from 3 years old to 11 years old stay for US$202 per person per night when using an available extra bed.
People 12 years old and over stay for US$305 per person per night when using an available extra bed.
