Great, quirky cabin. We had a lovely stay. It was warm and clean. Having the additional living room space made the stay much more comfortable so we weren't only confined to one room. The hot tub was amazing and very hot. And we had fun building and sitting around the fire pit.

The bed wasn't very comfortable at all and could do with something more sturdy. Heating unit was pretty loud. I paid extra for an English Breakfast package, but apparently the shop had run out of products to fulfil this (it was NYE). I was advised just before we arrived of this, and was told some continental breakfast items and a smores package supplemented this - not very good really as I would expect this to be accounted for as I paid weeks in advance. I also hate marshmallows so smores aren't my thing, and a couple of tins of protein shake, fruit and cake, aren't what you expect when you order an English breakfast. We also couldn't work out how we were expected to cook the English Breakfast offered, had it been supplied, as there was no cooker or hob in the cabin, only a microwave. I can only presume that we were expected to cook this over the fire pit, but this was a bit odd, awkward, and not clear. We still massively enjoyed our stay though.

A massive disappointment. Has potential to be a gold mine.

The hot tub was the only decent things about the stay after we figured out how to open the door ( nobody tells you anything ) 😂

I feel The property has massive potential the cabins are well set out and quirky, The hot tubs are also a bonus. By looking at the pictures provided £140 a night seems like a bargain….. how very wrong I was 😂 we arrived at 12 noon and were “greeted” by a man who’s only words to us were “are you in this one? Keys in the door hot tubs on” A hello would have been nice… i have a good sense of humour and found the whole interaction hilarious but some would be horrified 😂 We got into the glorified shed and wanted a shower before we headed out but unfortunately the shower was hanging off the wall… not ideal. To be fair we rang the host and someone was round in half hour to fix it. Still not great as we were tight for time we had to go out as we came. Onto the bodge jobs… I’d imagine all of the work has been done “in house” Im not a massive perfectionist but what a mess. Even the kitchen taps were plumbed in wrong (hot tap was cold/ cold was hot) someone must of had a fight with the sealant gun it was everywhere.. no love or passion had gone into anything. We named it “cowboy cabin” because that’s exactly what it is. Sunset luxury retreat must be a joke… The place does look better when the sun does set tho and you can’t see as much filth. Diggers outside if you fancy a race around the camp with the misses or maybe a game of crazy golf (so random) make sure you take everything from home as cowboy cabin provides a dirty microwave, a couple of forks in a glass, a kettle WITH coffee and tea but no milk? Maybe a trap so you go into the weirdest “Farm shop” I have ever seen…. A poverty spec butchers and corner shop in one. We stay away in these hot tub cabins all over the country and visit maybe 7/8 a year and this is by far the worst. But as I have said the potential is there! A lot of money has been spent so why bodge it? £144 is pennies for what is described but please do not be fooled! On the plus side We still had a good time!
