Spacious

− Scruffy ( paintwork, furniture etc) and needed a deep clean . Hair and old crisps under the bed . Shower ran hot and cold .

I would not recommend this at anything over £75 per night.

The only positive was good communication from the host with detailed videos but that does not make up for the poor quality of the property. I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone.

− This property was very disappointing, especially given we paid £642 for a 2 night stay. The photos and description on Booking.com are misleading and do not reflect the reality of the property. Cleanliness: The house was filthy, with sticky floors, mould in the bathroom, and hair throughout. The TV was covered in fingerprints (photo) and smears, and there was an overflowing ashtray full of cigarette butts on the window sill by the back door. The smell of stale cigarettes was overpowering upon entering, which was especially unpleasant as a non-smoker. The kitchen was so unhygienic that I didn’t feel comfortable using it to cook. The seal on the fridge was split (photo) and water was in the bottom of the fridge so storing any food was out of the question. Heating: The house was freezing upon arrival, and I had to refill the boiler twice during my short stay. Misrepresentation: The listing greatly embellishes the property’s condition, and I later found it listed on other platforms for a significantly lower price. The property was booked for its close proximity to Winton Castle for a family wedding, this spoilt what should have been a lovely weekend.

Very Comfortable Home From Home

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable, like home from home. Parking convenient, and very detailed directions, video and instructions sent, so finding locations and keys etc was easy. All facilities available, although couldn’t find hair drier and ironing board and iron eventually found in cupboard. Beds spotlessly clean, plenty of sockets, black out blinds and curtains. No noise outside or from next door. Felt safe and comfortable. Everything given lots of thought for convenience and comfortable stay. Bathroom spotless with multiple full size toiletries and fluffy towels.

− Only three tea bags in canister with one already burst, and only four plastic coffee sachets in canisters. We had to nip to shops to buy our own. We were also reminded multiple times of the necessity to vacate the property by a certain time.
