− Could do with a responsive maintenance system - one of the wardrobe doors in the main bedroom was off the sliders - very heavy and therefore difficult to move. The seats of both upstairs WCs didn’t feel very secure Some of the skirting board looked like it would benefit from cleaning Initial problem with accessing the keys in the key safe - initially give incorrect code, so took a while to access the property

4.0− Overall a disappointing experience. We arrived late at night to Mon Bank House and found that there was no heating and no hot water. We had to stay in those conditions for the first night, which is not acceptable. I contacted the host the following morning and we were then moved to another property. However, the alternative accommodation was also not satisfactory. The mattress was very uncomfortable and sagging, making it difficult to sleep, and we found dirty dishes in the cupboard, which raises concerns about cleanliness standards. Communication was not always professional, as I was initially contacted via WhatsApp instead of through Booking.com. In addition, the security deposit was only released after I had to follow up multiple times, despite being told it would be returned the next day. Overall, the issues were not handled to an acceptable standard.
