Gorgeous little gem
9.0Stunning property in a beautiful location. Very comfy bed with gorgeous cotton White bedding . Kitchen well equiped, lovely sofas Bathroom nice and big. Host was very kind , and put right straight away a little niggle we had.

− Would benefit from some TLC. Shower hot tap and TV had a mind of its own. Garden weeds impeded using it fully.

10.0Great cottage and well appointed. Everything needed was there. We had a pleasent stay and will come again.
− Difficult to find. It needs a sign in English to say what it is ie "the old smithy". We had to ask 2 people where it was and stopping on the busy narrow road outside was not good. A mirror over the basin in the bedroom would be helpful.
Beautiful, quirky cottage
9.0The cottage was huge and very quirky- lots of space for a family.of 4 and lots of space for my.children to explore.
− I had read on previous reviews that there were helpful bits like bread, milk and eggs left, but this was not the case for us. There was also a lack of condiments (oil for eg) which I would have expected to be there. Perhaps this was my naivity but the reviews were potentially misleading.

9.0Clean, warm, cozy. A home from home
Met the cleaner when we arrived as there was an issue with plumbing, she was very friendly and apologetic
8.0Spacious, clean and in a quiet location
− A bit of tea, coffee and milk would have been nice for when we arrived (which we usually have at other properties). There is nowhere in the village to eat out on a Monday evening which if we had known we may not have booked, had a Chinese takeout (which was good).
