Location, but noisy due to it being on the weekend. It stated it was quiet on booking.com, but ATV,UTV’s, and the next door neighbors hollering made it non peaceful.

− I did not like the fact that the host before us even getting there was like dealing with a three ring circus. When arriving roughly an hour early there was a cleaning/draining tool with no one there 40 minutes later the cleaning lady came which she was very polite. When we were allowed to go in we were automatically given the wrong access code I had to respond through booking and waited for the host to give us the right access code. We finally unpacked and I made my rounds around the house, first off when entering you see the vinyl plank flooring through out the home tore/warped in spots and starting to lift possibly from the gaps and the constant mopping overtime. The top loft bedroom flooring is not level and is warped in one place to where my 50 pound son can walk across and it starts to bow. The blinds in all the windows are bent on ends or missing chunks out of them. Most of the light fixtures in the ceiling are not secured and flop around as well as not seating flush. The dish washer is not secured and flops around, the washing machine has mold/mildew buildup in the front so we tried the cleaning cycle and it did not work, now the smell is even stronger the dryer has lent build up from last lint not being on the bottom inside. Stairs are held on by exterior screws splitting the wood by not pre drilling. No smoke detectors, but find a carbon dioxide detector in the cabinet. Board games and card games don’t have all of there pieces. the rolling coffee table takes off going to the front of the house when it’s off the rug like the house is un-leveled. Going out side the hot tub has a pool chlorinator floating around with two pebbles of chlorine, the tub has scaling where the water sits so we did not use the hot tub needless to say. The appearance of the hot tub looks like it had seen better days. The wife went out to sit on the porch swing out in the yard and immediately got off due to the log above bowing.

Loved her clean and amazingly soft the beds were and all the great outdoor activities for my little girl to play with we all enjoyed it so much

− We wound up rolling the rugs up the small ones because we were worried that one of us would fall on them because they slide so easily

The kids' playground was super nice, my boys (3 and 1.5yo) both loved the playground and my 3yo especially loved the "mountain" climbing piece. The firepit was nice (buy your own wood and we bought a lighter that we left), the cabin was exceptionally clean, and it was decently well stocked. We cooked almost all of our meals, and weren't lacking for anything. Someone (I assume previous guests) had left some spices and oil, which was also a nice surprise. The shower was clean and they were generous with the shower gel/shampoo, the coffee filters (great for kindling too lol) and the washing machine gel.

− A few minor negatives. No reception for us (Tmobile) so only had WiFi which was very weak. (Youtube shorts would only work half the time.) The doors for the bedrooms are sliding doors, so sound carries throughout the house. Beds were overly soft (not our preferences), there were no curtains and only blinds which made it annoyingly bright for our kids napping during the day, the can opener was literally rusted and didn't work (so bring your own), and only 1 keurig cup per day along with 1 dishwasher pod per day. I thought they were very generous with some things and then seemingly not-generous with other things. Not their fault, but AC upstairs loft was broken when we arrived which meant that it wasn't very comfortable upstairs. Mechanic came out Monday, and put AC on high fan setting and when I reached out for getting it fixed, the booking company only offered more fans. We stayed 5 nights and it was never fixed in this time. Last I heard, they were waiting to see if the part was in, but that was Wednesday and we were there Sun to Fri. It was pretty annoying. I asked for some kind of discount since this was never resolved during our stay and they offered me $25, which they then never sent.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy house! The location is truly great — very peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, while still being just a short 10-minute drive to the lake. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. You can tell the hosts put effort into making guests feel welcome. We really enjoyed the calm atmosphere and the convenience of being so close to the lake without being in a crowded area. It was the perfect balance for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend, and we would definitely stay here again!

Overall the stay was nice and relaxing. Beds was really comfortable

The location

− I found cat food and dead roaches. Also the couch had crumbs in the cushions.

The entire cabin was cozy and exactly what a family would be looking to get when traveling! We loved the backyard, the swing set/ the fire pit! We also thoroughly enjoyed the picnic table on the back porch, the hot tub was amazing! Very clean! There’s a TV on the porch as well that extends out so you can enjoy it while in the hot tub. The grill was clean, and we enjoyed being able to use it for dinner!!! There’s also some roasting utensils on top Of the storage on the back porch, however I did not see these and used a stick I found. But for other people check there! Loved that there was full dishes/pots and pans/ mixing bowls and even a whole glass baking dish! Everything was perfect! Also there was ice trays for ice cold drinks! Place was beautiful, quiet and so very clean!
