Perfect spot to enjoy the sights and relax!

Perfect base to explore Lincoln from as a family. Was the right side to walk down the hill! Really well set up and exactly what we needed.

Parking is on-street so subject to availability but the two parking permits were great and made group parking so much easier.

Emily couldn’t have been more attentive, checking in to see if everything was okay and any questions asked, a reply was

The property was beautiful, very clean, very well decorated with some lovely touches (and chocolates & biscuits on arrival). On a very quiet street and would definitely rent this again on another visit to Lincoln. Only a five minute walk to the town, castle & cathedral, bars etc.

If I have to comment about anything the only thing I would say is the parking, although we did manage to park in the only space available at time of our arrival, which was,by luck, right outside the property, otherwise it might have been difficult and we would have needed to go to the car parks within the vicinity. We didn’t move the car all weekend but on one occasion, I wouldn’t have been able to get the car out due to a van parked right up to my bumper!

Great location, very clean, nice outdoor seating area but parking nearby can be difficult .

The property was in a great location just 10 mins walk from the city. It was very clean and well equipped, especially the kitchen, but we found the sofas and mattresses a bit uncomfortable. Tea, coffee and milk sachets had been left for us which was appreciated.

The key collection was ridiculous. I rang for the key code 3 days before and was told I couldn't have it and it would be sent in an email 2 hours before we could enter the house at 3pm. We arrived a few hours earlier and had to pay for parking as we're unable to get into the property for parking permits. At 3pm we still hadn't received the code so I had to ring the owner. Instead of just giving me the code over the phone she was telling me I had to wait for the email with it on. Eventually she gave me it - the email didn't actually arrive till 3.30pm. I found this particularly frustrating as I have been a holiday cottage owner myself for 10 years, I go out of my way to ensure people have the key code and know it's frustrating, if after a long journey your stood outside and can't enter the property you've booked. Sometimes you just need to flex the rules slightly and accommodate the guests, we just wanted the parking permits and by the time we got them we'd missed the parking space near by.

A nice little house in a good location.

Good location. Nice little house. Parking a plus.

Position of thermostat meant downstairs was quite chilly.

Lovely house, great location, great communication from the hosts,

We did have some cleanliness issues but they were resolved as soon as we raised them, so didn't end up being a concern.
