Cozy, relaxing, beautiful property with a thoughtful design, but shower didn't function.
6.0The property is cozy, thoughtfully designed, and relaxing. Overall, we loved our stay at Mighty Pines. The outdoor space is peaceful and fresh smelling. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining area is also nice. Management was responsive and accommodating to my child's fragrance allergy and took measures to not use fragranced sprays etc... The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and the desk area is useful in the main living area.
− The shower was not functional. The handle appeared to be attached, but when you went to turn it on it fell off completely and there was no way to get water out. We were left with the bathtub as the only option to bathe, and for 6 people that was not ideal. I'm not sure how that detail was missed. If the cleaning crew had properly cleaned the shower before our arrival, they would have known that it was broken and that there was no way to get water. Management was responsive and offered to send maintenance. With just a two night stay, we opted not to have a maintenance person in the space with us, as it would have taken away from our relaxing vacation. Also, the stairs inside the home are steep and narrow and one of the stairs had a loose footing that would slide when stepped on. I was concerned someone was going to slip and fall down the stairs.
