Lovely chalet very cozy

Nice quiet location, ideal for a short break, we have 2 cats but didn't bring them on our breaks as we got a pet sitter at the last minute, but it was nice to have the option. we stayed with this booking as it was the only reasonable priced chalet for the time of year for a quick 2 night getaway, next time we may try 3nights as we usually do 7nights but feel that's too long, but 2nights went too quick 😊 The beds were comfy, nice warm fireplace, nice addition of the slow cooker & airfryer, but we didn't cook in the chalet. The shower was nice&hot. All in all apart from the cleaning & a few essentials not added, we enjoyed our stay. If these niggles were addressed then we'd happily come back for a 3rd stay😊

− I know this place allows pets & pet hair gets everywhere, but we felt it hadn't been cleaned thoroughly as there was still pet hair on the duvets&pillows which then transferred onto our own bedding. Inbetween the sofa&underneath was full of hairs&crumbs, my son dropped his switch game under the sofa & pulled out clumps of fluff etc. There was quite a bit of mould around the skirtings that needs to be cleaned, we noticed it on our last break but it seems it's not been cleaned at all, treated or painted. We struggled to get heat from the frontroom fireplace (the bedroom ones wouldnt heat up) &we had to search up the model to get the instructions of how to use it, once it was on it was lovely & warm. There wasn't a tea towel, washing up sponge or washing up liquid & the kitchen tap barely reached hot although the switch was on & the numbers were climbing. There wasn't a toilet roll so after 3hrs driving with 2 boys we had to use my pocket tissues I luckily brought until we bought some toilet paper. A shower mat & handsoap would be good too 😊 I'm unsure if the kitchen had cleaning facilities the last time we stayed, so I didn't know to bring my own this time as most places have the basics.
