Great hut for a stay close by to Stömstad but in need of some bathroom improvements.
5.0The little hut has everything one needs for the stay. It’s cozy nicely decorated. The bed is and has a soft mattress. The kitchen has plenty of equipment ( a lot more than in other places we have seen) so that one can cook extremely well. The owner was so kind to heat up the house before we arrived so it was extremely comfortable to arrive after a cloudy day. The communication (immediately after booking) was really helpful and friendly. Probably in summer a barbecue on the terrace would be really nice as well.
− Some of the kitchen equipment we used was dirty. For example the frying pan was greasy and dusty. The trash doesn’t get separated. On the mattress and pillows were dark spots. The bathroom is not in the house. One has to walk across the garden to get there. If we had known this, we wouldn’t have booked the hut, due to the storm at night. There was a small flashlight but no umbrellas ( we luckily had our own). Later on I found that in one of the pictures this is actually written (unpractical for no Swedish speakers). The bathroom is a part of the basement / storage / washing room of the house and was built in poorly. Even I (160 cm) could not take a proper shower. The heater was not working. Even though the bathroom was not comfortable it was clean. Nevertheless it’s a huge contrast to the cozy hut.
