Comfortable apartment in great location

Kentmere Haven apartment is well equipped and comfortable. We loved the location on the outskirts of lovely Staveley, where there are shops, cafes and a great pub! Check in was easy and we were very grateful to be allowed a later check out :)

− The apartment was mainly very clean, apart from a couple of sticky areas in the kitchen (microwave and cupboard doors) and a few crumbs in the fridge.

It was fantastic. The description is totally accurate; the property had everything we needed for a four nights stay. Clean, comfortable, with very easy access from the road, good parking space for one car, windows that keep any possible noise completely muted and showed a beautiful view. Absolutely fabulous. As a side note, for those looking for specifics, the beds are soft, but not "old mattress soft"; proper support, but with a soft top. The coffee maker works with Nespresso capsules, but also with coffee grains. I'd advise to ask the property how to use it if you like coffee (they'll explain properly). There is also an electric kettle, of course. Near the property (five minutes easy walk) there is a fish and chips shop and a pub, but you'll need to check the food times. There is a small corner shop (Spar chain) with all the essentials, that is open till 21:00. By car, you are ten minutes away, by a good road, from Windermere and the lake.

− The only thing to mention would be checking times. Check-in is at 16:00, so you need to plan for that, and check-out is at 10:00, so the last breakfast might have to be cut short.

Perfectly adequate for our stay.

− Hadn’t realised it was a first floor flat. Fortunately we were both able to climb stairs despite being elderly

Disappointed, I won’t use AirBnB in the future.

Location was good. Washing machine and iron were appreciated.

− Throughout my stay there was absolutely no heat in the bathroom. A maintenance request made via Alexa remained unanswered throughout my stay. Bear in mind that outside temperature was minus 4 Celsius when I arrived.
