8.0Great location, spa, nice living room and hosts were welcoming.
− Unfortunately some aspects of the layout. Having a room near the hosts bedroom is not great and you need to go outside to access the lounge area. If you can rejig the layout so the guests have their own area (lounge with direct access and bedroom) would be brilliant

9.0Lovely & abundant describes it all - the hosts, the location, the view, the 'facility', the breakfast, the openness of welcome & genuine treatment from the hosts/owners... quiet privacy (a number of bedrooms and spacious facilities, but they only have 1 set of stayers at a time - wow), the friendly pets, comfy bed... The history of the home - previous owners & successive alterations very interesting. It was more expensive than what we normally 'allow' ourselves... but yes turns out it was a worthwhile treat. − Getting bit picky now. As a builder/handyman you notice some things ! At some stage i'd look at getting the grouting renewed/refreshed in the shower area. Soft-drop toilet seats - sorry if my recall isn't accurate - places we stayed on our trip, l.o.j., you'd assume soft-drop.. then "crash" it would go.. in the middle of the night ! L.o.j. - they're not expensive.

10.0This is a wonderful place to stay . The room was excellent and peaceful. The guest lounge and the outside area were both relaxing and comfortable. Ann and Ewan were exceptional hosts. If I come back, I would book this location again.
