We loved everything, the apartment was spotless and such a good space making it comfortable for 4 adults. The location is absolutely perfect, 2 pubs on your doorstep along with all shops, cafes and restaurants. Their was some lovely touches and the facilities where spot on. The access is so straightforward and the entrance is so secure with multiple locks and a ring camera to make you feel safe. The fans provided where much appreciated with the high temperatures. Great stay!!

Intruders, no bedding, noise, terrible host

The flat was quite close to the train station and castle. It was mostly well-equipped with the notable exception below. The host allowed us to check in early to drop our bags.

− Intruder came in the flat when we were out, leaving the front door unlocked and insecure. Host denied this. No bedding for sofa bed. Host repeatedly refused to provide it. Very noisy location opposite a rough pub that stayed open well past midnight. WiFi didn't work at first. I booked this for me and my adult son so that we each had our own room. The listing says, "This lovely apartment can accommodate up to 4 guests. There is a bedroom with a comfy king bed, also 2 sofa beds (each as small double with a thick mattress topper for extra comfort)". However, when I decided to have a nap around 5pm on the first day, I could not find any bedding for the sofa bed. I queried it with the host, but she said that no bedding was provided as it was booked for 2 people. I pointed out that 2 adult men (me and 18yo my son) did not intend to share a double bed. I therefore requested a refund and said I would raise a formal complaint with booking.com. Valentina then accused me of threatening her and said she would ask me to leave her home if I continued. She refused bedding again the next day saying she lived 4 hours away. Later that night, after being out, we were shocked to find that the front door was slightly ajar and could be easily opened by gently pushing it and somebody had been in the flat as my shoes were moved. We had definitely left it locked as there were some dodgy looking characters hanging around outside. So I spent two nights on the hard, uncomfortable sofa bed with no bedding with lots of noise outside and worrying about intruders and a lot of stress from a very argumentative host.

Great location and nice apartment but disappointing service

− Be aware of additional fee and hopefully the communication goes well for all the potential guests. Booked this place for my parents (2 people staying) since I took them with me on a business trip in London, and figured that they could spend a few days in Windsor until weekends and then join me again in London. Because my parents don’t understand ANY English,l usually helped with the transportation,check-in and communication , and this is when it became a buzzkiller. Is was easy to locate the place, but we had difficulties to get the passcode to the key box,the lady communicated with us was being very defensive and inpatient both via message and at the door. My parents and I were standing in the rain asking for passcode, and the only thing she cared about was 3 people showed up at the place instead of 2, no matter how many time I explained that I am just here to help settle down my parents and will be back to London soon. The lady didn’t buy it and insisted on adding additional fee for the third people. And since she received the additional fee, she doesn’t even ask/care if the third person needs linens or amenities (cuz all stuff were prepared for 2 people only). So clearly she understood that only 2 people were staying but still charged the fee. Not a fortune but feels like a fraud. Great location without doubt but wouldn’t highly recommend to people that values quality of service.
