The Nook - A modern 2 bedroom loft with parking

Very easy to collect the keys

− The weather was extremely hot (34C) and no fans were provided, sleeping up in the loft area was suffocating and even though there is a little tiny window in the bedroom, most windows in the property don't open, which surely is a fire risk? Also not everyone wants to sleep under the stars, there are no blinds to the window skylights and waking up at the crack of dawn (5am) is not my usual good nights sleep. I ended up sleeping with a scarf over my head but given the heat in the room, this wasn't great either. If there had been two of us sleeping in that room, we would have had to check out and gone to a aircon hotel. It was unbearable. I strongly suggests the owner comes and spends a night in their accommodation, especially on a hot day to see how bad it is. I did contact the owner prior to arriving about fans, so luckily I bought a fan (still very hot in the room even with a fan) but I could only fit one fan in my car which meant my son had to suffer in the other bedroom and struggle to open the window. Please please get some blinds on those sky lights and fans, surely this is not a lot to ask for? As for parking, this was reasonable enough though I was nervous about leaving my car where I can't see it and not close to the property. Where I come from, cars get stolen a lot. You had to be careful using the outside steps too though my 22 year old son was fine using them.

What a gem lovely comfortable spacious accommodation Loved the quirky decor and set up of the rooms . And a bonus roof garden . The steps up to the accommodation are steep and hand rail not to the top ,but we took our time

− The steps are steep and metal the hand rail didn’t meet the tip step , we took it slow and managed.

Been before and will go again!

lovely apartment and great location

Super Stay in Ripon

We absolutely loved the property. It was well-maintained, supremely clean with a modern, fresh feel. It was fully.equipped with everything we needed and wqs the perfect location for our short break. Comminication was perfect. Ripon is a beautiful place and a great base for exploring.

− The access was absolutely.fine for us but worth noting that it might be an issue with mobility issues.

Lovely appartment great location

The appartment was beautifully presented in a fabulous location. Steve was fantastic and was easy to reach when we needed support.

− The stairs are difficult if you are not good on your legs as are little steap. The TV didnt work and the heating isnt very good. Its on a timer and automatically goes off. We did have to sit with coats on at times. The parking is included but on the first day we couldnt park up as someone was in it which meant we had to pay and park in Sainsburys.
