Comfortable accommodation in a quiet location. House was very specious. Close to Durham and the coast. Reasonable priced. Hosts were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions.

− Should have been informed a breakage deposit was required at booking the accommodation not less than 48 hours before our stay. Didn’t feel very homely very minimalistic. Perhaps needed a few home comforts.

Lovely minimal home, great size dining, living space and bedroom. Clean mostly throughout. App TV so we're able to watch all our regular things, good wifi. Walking distance to great Thai restaurant, grocers and cash point. Really handy for Diggerland. Easy check-in and check-out process.

− No glassware and kitchen utensils a bit sparse, but fine as we were only there for two nights. None of the lamps had lightbulbs in them which we thought was handy especially for the kids room. Important to note that there is a £60 non+refundable damage waiver fee when booking or £300 refundable deposit- it's in the fine print. Read with care.

Really handy location for Diggerland Durham which was our main aim. Really great village too!

It was a lot bigger than it appeared in the photos - huge living area for the boys to play in - perhaps make more of this space in your photos as it was a good size.

− The only real negatives were that it could do with some more furniture in the living room for four people, and perhaps an additional table or two in the downstairs spaces. Everything else was a bit thin -the duvets, the mattresses, the pillows, the cutlery!

Everything was brand new and just as advertised. Very comfortable beds, functional and practical. Ample living space everywhere. The main bathroom with a bath tub is downstairs and smaller bathroom in the master bedroom. Super water pressure with excellent hot water and fast wifi. Heating across the house was super. Only missing things were a dish washer (but there was hand wash liquid) and a coffee machine (but there were tea, coffee and sugar plus some lovely biscuits to add that extra touch). Checking-in was easy with the key lock located at the back of the house (it's the post code location) but be aware that there are two number 16's on the same street and this house has a heart shaped board with 16 on it. There are two grocery shops within 2 min walking distance and a good Chinese take away nearby as well.

− Parking is tricky! The off street parking at the back side of the road is generally occupied but you have ample on street paid parking.
