Great cottage for a reunion in North Norfolk

Everything was very easy - booking, getting in, finding everything. We were holding a reunion of school friends and the property really provided the space and facilities we , 70 years youngers needed to chat , reminisce and enjoy each other's company. The location was perfect - near to everything we wanted to do - coast, Sandringham, Houghton Hall. The property had everything we needed Beds and bathrooms were perfect for us as 3 couples appreciating comfort and a private bathroom each. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed - we even managed hosting another couple for meals although we were a but short on cutlery. The info provided was very useful- we took recommendations for meals as well as where to shop and places to see/visit. Parking was reassuringly very easy although we weren't completely clear which places to park in at the rear of the property but it didn't seem to matter. We'd all happily stay again.

− There weren't any instructions for the dishwasher and it took us a bit to work it out. We also had a challenge later when it wouldn't start. We think a sensor had found it too overloaded. With a bit of guesswork we sorted it but some instructions would have saved time.

Beautifully designed and presented, it made a lovely bolt hole for six. Lawrie’s communication and information was exceptional

− The only thing I would change is to provide some better pillows, the ones provided are very flat and don’t offer any support to your head and neck while sleeping

The interior was beautiful, very well designed with a luxurious finish and well maintained. It had real character with a modern kitchen extension and an characterful living room and master bedroom. There was plenty of space, it was very warm and cosy and also the garden was beautiful too!

Very well appointed and comfortable accommodation with a lovely garden which caught the sun at all times of the day!

− Having to clean the outdoor table and chairs and sweep up the outside area after the lawn had been cut. Also the large number of flies but the temperature was high!
