Walk to the Village, Hot Tub, SHARC pass, AC, Games, Bikes, Grill, Pet-Friendly♡

This was a great location, as they say steps from the Village, which was one of the main draws.

Location location location! And pet friendly.

− Older property, as a majority of properties are in Sunriver. So the 2nd story was noisy, you can hear everything. Mattresses and pillows could be replaced,

Perfect location if proximity to the Village is important.

Location was excellent. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen has lots of plates/cups/kitchen tools/pans, etc. Lots of bikes.

− Nobody liked the door locks. Sort of rough and tough to lock with the keys. Key's fall off the keychain. Horrible position of fridge in relation to the front door.

We had a fantastic family vacation at the Hideout, the house was perfect for us, very roomy, nice kitchen, wonderful deck to relax. The beds were so comfy, nice ac, and tv in each room. We were so close to the Sunriver village shopping center. We rode bikes all around the trails, and the swimming at Sharc was the cherry on top! Very grateful to our hosts, thank you so much! While we had some disppointments with the house itself, the owner & location are A1!

We have stayed at numerous houses in Sunriver and the location of Village Hideout cannot be beat! It is a very quick walk to either the village or to SHARC and the owners generously provide 10 passes to the SHARC! I can also confirm that Pam & Vic were incredibly responsive to us and even checked in with us during our stay. They were exceptional at each and every turn. Oh, and the bikes provided were of really good quality. There was atleast one in every size for any possible rider. Every room has dedicated heating and cooling, all of which worked great (we had to both heat and cool since the temps during our stay varied from 40 - 80 degrees!) Finally, the linens and towels provided were of good quality and if you run out of towels while staying at this house, you need to use fewer towels! ;)

− The house is dated and while it has been *kinda* updated, the updates aren't what I would consider high end. The kitchen cabinet configuration is odd and they wasted an entire lower cabinet, that is sorely needed storage space, on a pull out garbage can. The kitchen could also be better organized and stocked (lacking a full set of pots/pans, etc). The house is also dark because of the cedar paneling (that said, the cedar paneling gives the interior so much character that it is worth it!) The darkness of the house hides what we considered sub par cleaning, as well. We found used fake eyelashes in the sheets of one of the beds, the floors had pretty obvious dust and dirt and both bathrooms had soap scum left in the showers. We brought this to the attention of the owners and they are addressing with their cleaning crew!
