I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone looking to book in this area based on the customer service.
1.0The location was ideal for us attending Silverstone.
− The first issue was with the shower. The temperature control was clearly faulty and could not be adjusted, leaving the water dangerously hot and unusable. With four adults staying in the apartment during warm weather, access to a working shower was an essential facility. Following the instructions displayed on the back of the front door, I contacted the out-of-hours emergency number. Unfortunately, the customer service I received was extremely disappointing. Rather than being offered assistance, I was spoken to in an unprofessional and dismissive manner. I was told that the issue had not existed previously and that it was “just because the water is hard in England.” On another occasion, I was advised to contact Booking.com and cancel the reservation. I was also accused of raising the issue simply to obtain a refund. I was instructed to adjust the boiler myself, something I was not comfortable doing as I did not want to risk causing damage or creating a safety issue. I was then told to use the bath instead, which was not a practical solution for four adults. The overall manner in which I was spoken to was unacceptable and left me feeling completely unsupported as a paying guest reporting a genuine maintenance issue. Although I was told the problem would be looked into, we were never informed that anyone had attended the property or that the issue had been resolved. On returning to the apartment, we discovered that the toilet seat had been left up, there was urine left in the toilet bowl, and the toilet had not been flushed. Finding the bathroom in this condition was extremely unhygienic and wholly unacceptable. Taken together, these issues significantly affected our stay and are the reason I do not believe the accommodation represented value for money. I have contacted them to complain about my experience but heard nothing back, not even an apology.
A good place to stay in Bicester
10.0Super comfy, clean, and well-stocked flat. Awesome location right in the heart of Bicester, close to restaurants, supermarkets, and the bus station. You can even walk to the train station and Bicester Village!
