Relaxing hotel in perfect location.

Favourite hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
9.0The outdoor pool was one of the main reasons for choosing the hotel. But we also loved the grounds, the carefully chosen furnishings and fantastic artworks
− The parking was challenging when busy, and an electric charging point would have been very useful.
Awful place , more like three star . Rats running around on terrace
1.0terrible place first room declined . tried to upsell an upgrade like i was bartering at a market !! liked tge garden
− sitting on terrace watching rats run around !!! it was shocking . A rat killed a muse and left it on the ground beside us and we reported i immediatelyand it ended up with my wife having to remove the poor creature from sight.
Disappointing.
3.0Breakfast nice and bed very comfortable
− Room very warm and no A/C. Staff were not pro active and we had to request an exception to have breakfast in the garden in the morning despite there being lots of space outside. We also requested that a taxi be booked and it was not done correctly. Bathroom toiletries were very basic. For the price we paid we expected better service and facilities.
Lovely setting, slightly disappointed by the service
7.0The gardens and pool area were fabulous - a wonderful place to relax and just a short distance from the centre of Bath. Our room was beautiful, tastefully decorated and the beds comfortable.
− The service in the terrace restaurant was not on point on the evening we were there - although the staff were friendly, I had to chase our drinks order a couple of times and we ended up with the aperitif arriving just as we were finishing our starters and the wine arriving as I was finishing the main course. Not the end of the world but didn’t quite live up to other hotels we’ve stayed at recently.
