5.0Close to UIUC campus (2 min drive), but Champaign is a very small place anyway.
− The double bed was very small and noisy. The room tend to be very hot due to central heating in the cold months and the temperature is not really adjustable. However, you can open the windows at least.
Nice location, fully remodeled room. Would visit again.
8.0Fully remodeled room, very nice bathroom. Nice location near restaurants and a grocery store (0.5 miles). At first I found the street noise a bit loud, but pretty quickly it faded into the background and felt just like a city downtown apartment (but without the honking I would have expected).
− The bed wasn't as nice as the rest of the apartment. Normally I wouldn't have noticed, but in contrast to the really-nice rest of the experience, the bed stood out as needing a refresh.
Disappointing
4.0Don't get room 200. You will be woken up at 5 o'clock every morning by the banging of the empting of the trash dumpster outside your window. Also numerous emergency vehicles keep you awake with a exterior wall room. Not a good place to try to get some winks.
