Nice location but a bit troublesome
7.0The house was nice with a nice garden and a pool - There was a bbq available to grill some food (coal and wood were provided) - There is a coop nearby which is convenient - The house had a washing machine and provided plates/cups/cutlery - The location is a big plus (near the lake) - The kitchen is nice and well equipped (but more for parties). There is a lot of space to store the food. - Every room, except the “room without door” has a bathroom which is good. - The house was clean. - There is a lot of space if you want to park your car.
− Lot of administration/trouble for short stay: The service with Quokka is terrible, for a 2 nights stay, there is a contract to acknowledge, you need to give personal information about all people staying and there is a quite huge deposit of 500chf. Check in is at 15h but the house was not ready until around 16h. We asked if we could do a late check out for free since they were late and they agreed but then came anyway at around 10h saying it was not possible... but in the end everything went well and we could agree on something. - The deposit is not reserved on your card (as you would expect) but they claim it right away which can lead to fees from your bank that will not be canceled. The refund took around 5 days. - Quite overpriced for what it is... (we paid around 317 per person => 634 for a couple). Many things were not functioning. The blinds on the second floor, the main light switch in a bedroom.. - The house became quite hot with high temperatures and a humid weather, we only had one transportable fan and a fan fixed on the roof of the second floor - One room is actually not a room. It has no door and the roof is open inside the apartment - For 2 nights and 7 people, they only gave us 1 taxed trash bag... if you need more then you will have to buy a pack of 20 which can only be used there.
