Great location and fantastic views
7.0Great property in a great location. Fantastic beach front and views. Property was a reasonable size with lots of bedroom and lounge space. Living space was ample enough with some nice facilities to make it home from home.
− Parts of the property were starting to look tired and could do with a refurb. There were a few things that could do with fixing or repairing - we had to get the window latch fixed whilst at the property as it wouldn’t lock and could be opened wide from outside. Although not a show stoppers and I wouldn’t let it take away from the overall enjoyment of our holiday.
Amazing
10.0Location fabulous Cleanliness excellent Truly 5 star
Stunning and Idyllic
9.0As a family of four we had no issues at all with Ty Glan Y Mor. It has been a very cold, windy and bitter weekend. The heating worked throughout and the fire added to aid our comfort. The views and setting are stunning, especially from the bench outside with a nice brew! The walks close to the property are stunning and open the chances to explore. The internal decoration of the home is lovely with some fantastic artwork in the rooms. The kitchen is adequately kitted out and if you were of the disposition to cook, you can, quite easily!
− The lounge could have benefitted from more subtle lighting for the evening but this is not a show stopper at all. Due to the location the windows did get quite cloudy with the sea salt and sand. We cleaned them to help open up the views. If there was something specific for the cleaning the windows it would help. Again, not a show stopper in anyway. Something to help clean the windows a bit easier would be a benefit.
5 star location but 2 star comfort & cleanliness
7.0Location and views are without question the draw and USP.
− 1. WiFi is poor. We had to log off all other devices to be able to use the TV. 2. Cleanliness was substandard. It needs a good scrub. It’s maybe ready for refresh now. 3. Comfort. We got lucky as the weather was exceptional for November so we were outside for a week. But if we were inside due to rain the comfort would have irritated. The sofas may look good but are not comfortable at all. The lighting in the lounge is one light. The beds creak. The second double bed is patched together with a plank. It’s just not a comfortable property and considering what you look out onto that’s a real missed opportunity.
Beautiful property in an ideal, secluded location with an amazing view.
10.0Amazing cottage in an amazing location.
− Everything about the cottage was perfect. Only comment would be that it could do with a sign at the top of the lane to reach it so that you know you’re on the right track.
