− No instructions about equipment eg tv.we could not get either tv to work and neither could the person who showed us round. Very annoying. No emergency instructions eg doctors/ shops/ public transport. No tea/coffee facilities so we couldn’t have drink after travelling along way. The bath mat had huge holes in The bedding was very creased even the top duvet not very nice to get into a bed in the state it was Lack of a chair in the room. There was a small stool but too low for my husband The outlook in the back garden was a mess. Full of

− Thin door which did not stop noise from elsewhere in house. Poor lock that could be unlocked by host from outside (and no way to prevent that from inside). Dirty under toilet seat (a 'bit rich' as were made to take our shoes off on entry). Someone using bathroom next door (loud extractor) after midnight, and then having a loud conversation on speakerphone. TV not working and clearly not worked for some time. One of the two pillows did not have a case/cover (although was clean). Felt like a house of multiple occupancy/student digs. We wanted to like it as one of the earlier reviews looked unfair, but we just did not feel comfortable/safe/relaxed there and left around 7.30am. Sorry.

− We booked the family room, as it was advertised that there was a bed and separate futon. Upon arrival there was only a large bed. Private check in was advertised but we had to wait in the cold for about 10 minutes for someone to arrive and let us in. The tv advertised was not working. The owner tried to charge us for 2 missing towels although the towels were left in the property. I’m glad we were only there for one night.
