Great location, even better host
9.0Norm is a terrific host and so helpful and friendly. He gave me alternate directions to find the carpark, met us there and walked us all the way to our room. The next morning he was there to meet us again. He was also amazingly helpful when we had to change the booking at the last minute and went above beyond in this aspect. There were plenty of beds and extra warm bedding, which came in very handy on a cold night. It would be a great place to stay for a large group. You could sleep as many as 10 people in this apartment. The food options across the street were many and varied - you could choose from almost anywhere in the world.
− The heating in the lounge room could have been beefed up a bit, although Norm did try to make it better with an extra heater and probably would have helped further if we had asked. Mum (67) and Nan (87) struggled a little with the low couch - which most people, myself included, would find quite comfortable. Apart from that, everything was good. The food option we did choose (Noodle House) was the big disappointment. While the meal itself was nice, the 50+-minute wait for takeaway (they told me 20-25) when it did not appear to be busy meant I was half an hour late for my planned evening. I wouldn't go to that place again.

− ..not a biggy but I'm still waiting on my invoice and our bookkeeper is on my case !!
