Peaceful base for exploring the north of Ireland by car
10.0What a lovely B&B! It has a quiet back-arse-of-nowhere feel, surrounded by fields and farms, while being a short drive to Lough Neagh, Belfast, the Antrim coast, and about an hour down to Newcastle and the beautiful Mournes. Lovely hosts who are knowledgeable about local sights and how to avoid unnecessary charges, amazing breakfast options. Two friendly dogs with wagging tails, one we called the Detective who was clearly in the midst of an important investigation, and an OAP who loved scratches. Also an elderly and elusive cat. Recommended for a break from it all and a great base to go exploring.

10.0Cathy & Noel are just the loveliest people, what a great stay, really lovely room & ensuite, & breakfast was delicious! They gave us really good tips around travelling in the area. They felt like long lost friends, we would to come back.
