The location was great and very convenient. However, there were roaches in the unit, which was very disappointing. In addition, the apartment above was extremely noisy until around 1:00 a.m. There was constant running, loud stomping, and chairs being dragged across the floor, making it difficult to relax and get a good night’s sleep. Unfortunately, these issues took away from what could have been a much better stay.

− The location is very unsafe and the accommodation was not as advertised. The pictures are very misleading.

Comfortable well-priced flat in quiet location. Ideal for solo traveller.

Nice basement apartment in quiet residential area. Near to bus route. Plenty of utensils, crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment if you want to cook for yourself. Air con more than adequate. Complimentary coffee and snacks were a welcome surprise. Close to JFK.

− An outside light on steps down to entrance would be a helpful addition.

Good/comfortable stay for a night or two to catch a flight or personal business.

The property has 2 comfortable beds and all the amenities for an apartment. Includes a kitchen and bathroom with all utensils. Bathroom was very clean and so was the apartment in general. It is located 12 min away from the airport, which was the number one reason we booked it as we had a flight early in the morning and it was important to be as close as we could. We even used back streets and still took us very little time and no traffic to get to our terminal/rental car place. The host was very nice, responsive right away and available for our questions.

− This was our first time in NY, and not sure if this is something typical. However, the rooms are located somewhat in the basement and there are no windows. The AC unit was very loud so during the night we could not use it. The kitchen appliances could use some deep cleaning, especially the microwave and fridge, along with the entrance door which could be cleaned a little from the inside. But overall everything was clean and good.

The property is in a good location, it's relatively close to the Air train and railway station. The rooms were clean and had enough space.

− If you're one of those person that opens the windows first thing in the morning, like myself. This is not somewhere you want to stay for too long, because there are no windows.
