lovely home
9.0Home from home
Braw stay, absolutely recommended
10.0Breakfast was poor, but then I made it myself so that doesn't count
− Everything was great
Contemporary, large, clean and pleasant!
6.0The kitchen is spacious, lovely and clean. Very large with a nice breakfast bar my little girl loved. The house is a nice size and the beds are very comfortable, the whole house was spotless and I loved the complimentary tea and cofee, it was a lovley added extra. There were hairdryers etc available in both bedrooms which was lovely. The house offers a contemporary feel, nice and spacious. TV had lots to offer in way of tv programmes etc. Everything from booking to arriving was very smooth and efficient and when we had an issue with the heating/water in the property the responce was immediate. Wifi was working and great and hosts were pleasent. We had a good stay overall.
− It would be advisable to acknowledge the difficulty in parking as its an important consideration when choosing an air B&B, we understood there are things beyond someone's control such as the boiler not working but asking us to google it and fix it wasnt appropriate, we are not boiler savy it was pure luck we could contact a family member to help, the carpet on one of the stairs is not stuck down so the pins were frequently showing. The plug to the bath slots in but the there is no function to get the plug out of the bath and the part which should release the plug is just glued on so it's easily breakable, it's not the end of the world but our little girl cannot have a shower so we're unable to bath her there. I found the folder which has lots of great information however advising 'what not say' on a review seemed a little bit of forced bias, as it gave the impression that transparency and honesty wasn't expected of us. I totally understand why as it can damage a reputation however I personally didn't feel like it was appropriate but that's my personal opinion.
Superb
9.0Plenty of space, comfortable, helpful agent
− Garden, but may be because of the time of year
Lovely host & lovely stay
9.0The decor of the house is amazing. Really well executed. Required an extra night due to my shift changing and Andrea was happy to oblige and fast at replying. Bed is super comfy. Thought of essentials, salt, oil, foil etc.
− Parking - grass verge is not ideal due to no drop kerb and weather (have a low fast car). Recommend parking in aldi car park near stairs, does not cost and my car was perfectly fine.
