Surprising haven in someone's garden
8.0Discrete owners there if i needed them but left me alone. Very well equipped and comfortable unit
− Bit of a trudge from the driveway down and up a slope. Not a massive issue in return for quiet and privacy.
Excellent place to explore The Lake District
10.0I loved the facilities and the place in general. Fairly techie but easy to use. The AC was a welcome treat on the heatwave days. I felt at home very quickly and was very comfortable in my surroundings. The place was also within an easy walk to town and situated near all major routes to explore the Lake District. Wholly recommend this place.

10.0I absolutely loved the attention to detail that went into planning and building this holiday home. There was nothing to fault, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Everything you could possibly need for two people was thoughtfully provided. I especially appreciated the personal touches, including the introduction to the family and their three friendly cats in the handy information book. As an environmental scientist, I was particularly impressed by the owner's commitment to sustainability, making every effort to ensure the property was as environmentally friendly as possible, both during construction and in its day-to-day operation. Located just a 30-minute drive from Windermere, it is a perfect base for exploring the Lake District, with plenty of beautiful hikes and scenic spots nearby.
