9.0It was a modern building but retained a lot of the original silk mill.
− Lifts werent working so had to walk up 2 flights of stairs...good cardio though :)
Upmarket apartment in need of some TLC, but comfortable enough.
7.0Very roomy apartment. Enjoyed the fact it was once an old mill and how it had been upgraded to apartments. Freddie, who met us at the building, was very pleasant and welcoming.
− As a host myself, there were several things which I would have done differently. Only one, partial toilet roll was provided, so we had to purchase our own, as we did with tea and coffee. The TV was not connected to any satellite or wifi channels. The kitchen units were in need of some repair (door missing) and tidying.
Overall, good value for money and great apartment.
7.0The beds were very comfortable and overall apartment is spacious.
− It would be ideal if you had wifi as the internet connection was very poor in the building. Could have been cleaner - ie. Mirror in bathroom was a little dirty.
