The lodge was a great last minute find for our family to all stay at Smith Mountain lake.
9.0We loved the location on the lake and the quietness of being in a no wake cove that was close to the marina to pick up our boat rental! The owner, Alicia was very responsive when I had any issues or questions. Some of the issues were out of her control but she was able to get them fixed when I let her know. She was a great host with communications!
− The pictures don't show the amount of cabins in front of the lodge so that was a little bit disappointing to not have a clear water view and so many other people around. The AC wasn't working well in the master bedroom so it was hot both nights even with the fan on. We made sure the vents were open but the air just wasn't blowing cold. The bed wasn't very comfortable in the master bedroom either, however, both issues were addressed with the host and she was able to get them looked at so I appreciated her attentiveness. She offered for us to visit again in the future with a free night for the issues we had so that was very kind of her as well.
