Cheap but not great for newborns!
5.0Good location in the centre. The price is good for somewhere to put your head down if you are 1 or 2 adults only. Nice to have a kitchen.
− The access is not good, the door opens directly onto a narrow staircase leading up to the attic. This made things difficult as we had a 4 month baby to carry up and down along with the pram. In addition we were there during a heatwave (30+ degrees) and there are signs stating the building is listed and not to open windows. As it was an attic apartment it was extremely hot and quite unsafe for the baby. Also the bed has a mattress topper that we had to remove as it was sliding off during the night! We left our 3 night stay a day early due to the issues and informed the manager... He wasn't particularly sympathetic and just said everyone was struggling with the heat and that lots of families had stayed there before without issue. I think better images would have helped inform our decision, also we knew it would be hot but not being able to open the windows should be made clear beforehand. I suppose I should have read the previous reviews in more detail!
