− On arrival, we found the apartment to be filthy and not maintained. Communication with the owner had them promise to send a cleaner the next day but then they told us that they were not able to schedule them after all. Unable to stay in such inhospitable and unsanitary conditions, we wish to have a full refund and cancellation of the entire stay. Among our concerns: - toilets which had not been cleaned properly - unidentified foreign matter in the sink drain - hair in both the shower drains - hair on the bathroom walls - hair on the bed covers - grease on the kitchen walls - unidentified stains on walls throughout the apartment - leaking toilet - toothpaste on bathroom mirrors - stained comforter covers and bedsheets - filthy kitchen sink with black/green spotting and standing water - curtains hanging off the hooks - under sink kitchen cabinet has broken shelving and reeks of mildew - stained rugs - stained table tops - the host solicited funds outside of Booking for a deposit not mentioned in the listing And the host refused to accept responsibility nor to refund the cost of the stay.
